How to Add/ Edit Drones?

You can add the details of the new drones used in drone operations.

1.  Navigate to Inventory > Drones.

The Drones page is displayed. 

2.  Click Add Drone.

The Drone Overview dialog is displayed. 

Note:  All fields in light blue are mandatory.

3.  Enter the name of the drone in the Drone Name field to auto-match the telemetry data.

4.  Select the status of the drone from the Status dropdown list.

5.  Enter the brand name of the drone in the Brand field. 

6.  Enter the model of the drone from the Model dropdown list.

Note:  If the brand or model of your drone is not available in the dropdown list,  Suggest a mission Brand/Model.  

The Contact page is displayed where you have to enter your Email address, Contact Phone number, Subject, and Message in the respective fields and select the Category from the dropdown list.  

On clicking Send, your suggestion will be sent to us.

7.  Select type of drone from the Type dropdown list. 

8.  Enter the tail number of the drone in the Legal ID field. 

9.  Enter the actual serial number of the drone in the Serial # field. 

10.  Enter serial number of flight controller if you wish to pair the hardware the Flight Controller Serial # field.

11.  Enter serial number of remote controller 1 if you wish to pair the hardware the Remote Controller Serial # field.

12.  Enter serial number of flight controller 2 if you wish to pair the hardware the Remote Controller Serial 2 # field.

13.  Click the Geometry / Inventory tab. 

The Drone Geometry/ Inventory dialog is displayed.

14.  Select a drone geometry from the Geometry dropdown list that provides the users (Maintenance personnels and pilots) a visual representation of the drone's arm/motors with a number labeled to each part. 

15.  Enter the QR code of the drone to use it on the mobile app in the Inventory/ Asset # field.

16.  Enter a note if any in the Description textbox. 

17.  Add tags that you wish to link in the Tags field. 

18.  Click the Extra Information tab. 

The Extra Information dialog is displayed.

19.  Select the name of the owner in the Owner dropdown list.

20.  Select the category of compliance from the Compliance Category dropdown list.

21.  Enter the firmware version of the drone in the Firmware Version field.

22.  Enter the hardware version of the drone in the Hardware Version field.

23.  Select the type of propulsion from the Propulsion Type dropdown list.

24.  Enter the maximum amount of weight the drone can carry in the Max Payload Capacity field.

25.  Enter the distance at which the drone lost sight in the Out of Sight Distance field. 

26.  Select the date of purchase of the drone from the Purchase Date calendar.

27.  Enter the value of insurance in the Insurable Value field.

28.  Check the box Loner Drone if the drone is loaned.

29.  Enter the initial number of the flight in the Initial Flight # field.

30  Enter the initial time of the drone flight in the Initial Flight Time field in the format Hours: Minutes: Seconds.

31.  Click Add. 

The drone is added.

• To edit drone information, click  icon on the Drones page, against the required drone.
