How to Add/ Edit Batteries?

You can add details of the new batteries used in the flight during your drone operations.


1.  Navigate to Inventory > Batteries


The Batteries page is displayed. 



2.  Click Add Battery


The Battery Overview page is displayed. 



Note:  All fields in light blue are mandatory.


3.  Enter the name of the battery in the Name field. 

4.  Enter the model of the battery in the Model field. 

5.  Select the status of the battery from the Status dropdown list. 

6.  Enter the QR code of the battery in the Inventory / Asset # field to use it while using the mobile app. 

7.  Enter the serial number that is printed in the Serial # (Printed) field. 

8.  Enter the internal serial number in the Serial (Internal) field.

9.  Select the drone to which you wish to add the battery from the For Drone dropdown list. 

10.  Enter the cell count of the battery in the Cell Count field. 

11.  Enter the battery's capacity in the Capacity (mAh) field. 

12.  Enter the duration in the Duration (minutes) field. 

13.  Enter the initial cycle count on the battery before adding it to the DroneLogbook system in the Initial Cycle Count field. 

14.  Enter the lifespan value of the battery which acts as a battery replacement trigger in the Life Span field. 

15.  Enter the number of flights for the battery charge cycle that acts as a battery replacement trigger in the Flights Count field. 

16.  Enter the number of days for the battery charge cycle that acts as a battery replacement trigger in the Days Count field. 

17.  Click Extra Information


The Extra Information dialog is displayed. 



18.  Select the owner from the Owner dropdown list. 

19.  Select the date of purchase of the battery from the Purchase Date calendar. 

20.  Enter the insurable value of the battery in the Insurable Value field. 

21.  Enter the weight of the battery in the Weight field. 

22.  Enter the firmware version of the battery in the Firmware Version field. 

23.  Enter the hardware version of the battery in the Hardware Version field. 

24.  Enter a note if any in the Description field. 

25.  Click Add


The battery is added. 


Note:  To edit battery information, click  icon on the Batteries page, against the required battery.
