How to Add/ Edit Maintenance Activity?

You can add maintenance activity for a drone or equipment when needed.


1.  Navigate to Maintenance Add Maintenance


The Select Maintenance Type dialog is displayed.



2.  Select the type of hardware from the options Drones or Batteries & Equipment


In the following example, we are showing you how to add maintenance activity for Drone.  You can follow similar steps to add maintenance activity for Batteries & Equipment.


The Drone Maintenance overview dialog is displayed. 



3.  Enter your name in the Name field. 

4.  Select a drone from the Drone field.

5.  Check the box Set this drone In-Maintenance box to place the selected drone in maintenance.

6.  Select the date of maintenance for the drone from the Maintenance Date calendar. 

7.  Select the status for maintenance from the Status dropdown list.  The available options are ScheduledCompleted, and In-progress.

8.  Schedule the next maintenance date or the number of flying hours if you wish to be notified for the next maintenance event for this task in future by selecting the date from the At date calendar and entering the number of days.

9.  Enter any notes if needed in the Notes textbox.

10.  Click Next.


The Drone Maintenance Tasks dialog is displayed.




The geometry provides the user with a visual representation of the drone's arm/motors.  Each part is labeled with a number which is linked to Part Number in the Add Task section.


11.  Select the part number from the Part # dropdown list.

12.  Enter or select the name of the part in the Part field.

13.  Select the status of maintenance required from the Status dropdown list.

14.  Select the name of the technician from the Technician dropdown list.

15.  Check the box Replaced if the part has to be replaced and enter the new serial number of the part in New Part Serial # field.

16.  Enter any note if needed in the Description textbox.

17.  Click Save.


The task is added under the Tasks list.



Note:  

  • You can add as many tasks as you like with different status for the same hardware. 

  • On mouse over the task added,   and  icons are displayed so that you can edit or delete the task as needed.  


18.  Click Add.


The maintenance task for the drone is added in the maintenance log.


Note:  To edit the maintenance details, click  icon in the row of the maintenance activity you wish to update and make the necessary changes.
