How to Assign/Remove Role(s)?

You need to set the role(s) that you want to assign to the profile.  This is a mandatory field in Your Profile settings.  

1.  Navigate to Your Profile. 

Your Profile page is displayed. 

2.  Select the roles from the Roles dropdown list and left click on them.  The available roles are 

• Chief Remote Pilot/Manager - The Supervisor or Admin.

• Pilot - The operator who has the flying control of the Drone.

• Observer - The visual observer who assists the operators manipulating the flight controls of the drone to see and avoid other air traffic or objects in the air or on the ground. 

• Approved Delegate - The person with the authority to act on behalf of the organization.

• Ground Support Crew - The support person who service the drone on the ground.

• Instructor - The person who guides the pilot.

• Maintenance Controller - The person who makes sure that the drone is technically capable of performing the planned mission with minimum disruptions.

•  Payload Operator - The person who monitors the payload of the drone.

Note:  You can select multiple roles for a single user profile. When Chief Remote Pilot role is selected for a flight, be sure to add Pilot for operational role.

3.  Click Save Changes. 

The selected roles that are added to your profile are displayed.

4.  To remove the role, click on the role you wish to remove. 

5.  Click the Delete key on your system keyboard. 

6.  Click Save Changes. 

The role is removed from your profile.
